New Jersey kid who discovered pottery at summer camp at age 12, ignored the professor who said he had no talent, and launched a ceramics line at Barneys in 1993. Opened his SoHo store in 1998, designed Parker Palm Springs, married Simon Doonan, and built a happy-chic empire of objects that feel both familiar and fresh.
