Marea Stamper dropped out after bullying in rural Kentucky, sold underground mixtapes at 16, then ran college radio. Mixmag named her DJ of the Year in 2016—the first woman. She changed her stage name in 2020, released the debut album Godspeed in 2024, and remains an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ and gender-inclusive dance floors.
